Speaker: Dr Fiona Costa
In May 2024, Faith in Later Life ambassador D Fiona Costa led an online event for Church Champions exploring how music can support people living with dementia and other health conditions. Catch up for Fi’s main talk, alongside questions and observations from attendees, with Fi’s thoughtful responses and practical encouragement for those serving older people.
Researcher
Dr Fiona Costa trained at the Royal College of Music and is a Research Fellow at the University of Roehampton, studying how music improves older people’s wellbeing—especially for those living with dementia. She co-authored Take Note and runs intergenerational café concerts at St Paul’s, Hammersmith. Fi is also a Faith in Later Life ambassador.
