Speaker: Pippa Cramer MBE
In this session, Pippa Cramer (one of our Faith in Later Life Ambassadors) will share the heart behind the launch of The Silver Hope Trust, the charity which oversees Connections and Hymns We Love for those in later life. You’ll hear how Connections works, the key principles behind it, and practical ways to explore, join, or even set up a group in your church or community.
We’ll also watch the powerful 9-minute film A Cup of Tea, a moving snapshot of some of the real challenges older people face, including loneliness, isolation, and bereavement, and the urgent need for community, love, and care. In the meantime, we're delighted to share a short preview of the film (in due course).

Pastoral Care & Seniors Minister
Pippa Cramer MBE is Pastoral Care & Seniors Minister at Holy Trinity Claygate, where she has led “Connections”, one of the UK’s largest church-based seniors groups, for 12+ years. With an NHS occupational therapy background, she also pioneered DailyHOPE, a free phone line bringing hymns and gospel hope to isolated older people.
