God cares about the elderly. While there are statistics that tell us most people come to faith before the age of 25, the Bible shows us that those in their latter years are precious to God, with intrinsic value to those around them.
Yet there is a tendency to see our ageing population as a problem to be surmounted, and the fragmentation of family in our culture means older people are increasingly affected by loneliness and isolation.
The church has both an opportunity and an imperative to make a difference in this area. This resource that gives you ideas and examples of how to get started and what projects are already in existence that you can adopt in your church.
