In July 2024, Faith in Later Life ambassador Ian Knox led an online event for Church Champions on how to share the Good News of Jesus with older people simply and naturally. Interviewed by our CEO, Alexandra Huggins (Drew at that time!), Ian unpacked why later-life evangelism matters, what’s distinctive about it, and practical ways to help older people come to know Jesus - alongside inspiring stories, helpful guidance, and a live Q&A.
Evangelist
Ian Knox, Faith in Later Life’s oldest Ambassador, is an evangelist and teacher with 60 years’ preaching experience. Married to Ruth with four sons and ten grandchildren, he “retired” to Northumberland. Formerly a solicitor and social care lawyer, he has served as an evangelist with CPAS and the 40:3 Trust, and is author, among other books, of Finishing Well.
